saw something seriously conceptual happening today. seemed like bros were forming teams to ‘tackle’ something conceptual about boxes. feel like boxes are really important concepts in today’s society that need to be ‘interrogated’ [via park performances]. feel like these bros were trying to do competing ‘pieces’ to perform ‘what it means to be in/use/deconstruct boxes’. saw that one team had cut a box into the shape of a bro and were including the box/bro as part of their team [via giving the box a bro hug]. think they might be investigating the boundaries between ‘boxes’ and ‘bros’. think it might also be an investigation of the relationship between brands and boxes. saw that there was a ‘Pacifico’ box and a ‘Tecate’ box in close proximity. seemed like the whole piece might be an allegory [via Shakesbro/Milton/Bro-adise Lost] about how there is a war going on right now in the park about whether to drink Pacifico or Tecate, and how this is a meaningless distinction between two beers that basically taste the same but come in different containers, kind of like how we are all bros but sometimes get confused by differences in our outward appearance [via packaging ourselves differently]
wish the park wouldn’t ‘get so deep’ sometimes… miss that week when everyone in the park thought they were in SoCal and were just all, ‘sup brah might go surfing 2day’
